Hey there, History Loggers. Sorry for missing last weeks post but I was crazy busy getting things ready for the Bill Cosby show! I hope you were able to make it to the show. It was wild!

Speaking of entertainment, there's a lot of great venues for entertainment around Tacoma. Nearby Metronome Cafe often has live bands playing. If you're part of the over 21 crowd, check out Jazzbones or Chopstix (which moved to downtown from 6th Ave!). Plus, there's always great entertainment happening around campus from campus films to open mic nights and poetry readings.

Greetings, History Loggers. It's your favorite office assistant here with another pro-tip for you all. We all know that eating at the SUB can be a drag, but, with a little ingenuity, you can keep things fresh and appetizing.

The Chef's Table is always the best when it comes to variety, but places like the grill and sandwich line can be different too. The sandwich line tends to have weekly fillings, cheeses and sauces. This week they have a "puebla" sauce. It's mayo based and has a very smokey flavor (mostly due to the cumin!) and is pretty good if you cut it with a little bit of regular mayo to fight back the smokeyness. Try switching up your usual sandwich plan.

Here's another innovative tip. Get yourself a piece or two of provolone from the sandwich line and take it over to the grill. Ask them for a hot dog and to have them put some marinara sauce on it. Put the cheese on top and, eureka!, you've got yourself a pizza dog.

And, don't forget that the Latin American station has specials every Tuesday night. And, my favorite, every Saturday night the vegan station becomes a baked potato and chili bar.
